The Journey is the Adventure

Helio Adventures wants to create your motorcycle adventure and provide the highest and best possible experience. We believe it is how you arrive at your destination that makes the journey. It is the difference between seeing and doing. Motorcycling can be a very personal experience that provides a sense of being. When you arrive at a destination on a bike, there is an aura of achievement. Every group is unique as is every rider. Every adventure or trip should be as unique. Expectations of each person and group will vary. Our trips offer the opportunity to fully explore and understand expectations yet challenge expectations by integrating training and even rides prior to the big trip. This process allows us to better customize your adventure, route and locations that are more suited to the group’s abilities and objectives. Additionally, we can integrate Moto fly-fishing expeditions, camping excursions, hikes or and include specific sites, dining experiences and accommodations.

Training

We have partnered with well-known adventure riders and trainers to explore and understand the type of riding and the challenges you want to engage, avoid or even achieve. Prior to the trip, we ask for resumes of each person’s experience on a motorcycle and their past travel adventures. We want to understand each person’s physical abilities and limitations.

 We have found that getting the group together prior to the big trip for rides and training makes the trip and experience far better. We will arrange for group training and or private virtual sessions to discuss technic, equipment and preparation for your journey. It is the preparation and consideration of where you are going and the means of getting there that will make it, meaningful, memorable and wanting more. 

Self-Guided Trips

Our process allows a group to be comfortable and confident to engage in a self-guided trip. Better understanding your expectations allows us to facilitate organizing the details, including  a route, equipment, lodging, dining and exploring. Our process provides an opportunity to create your own adventure.

Support Vehicles, Trip Concierges and Consultants

We can arrange for a vehicle to be at your end of the day location,  provide minor maintenance and concierge services each day or for specific days. Your trainer or consultant can also be engaged to accompany you on your trip and help your group and with challenging segments or provide additional training. 

Process

The definition of adventure usually involves the words “dangerous” and “unknown”.  Motorcycles and danger are sometimes synonymous.  However, it is the unknown that most people fear.  It is the unknown that facilitates danger.  Adventure travel is taking the path less traveled and experiencing places, people and the environment. Travel by motorcycle facilitates the experience more than other means of travel.  

Your adventure doesn't have to be all about being on a motorcycle.  It can be about Fly-fishing, kayaking, hiking, exploring, or simply sight-seeing.  A motorcycle can make the to these spots more meaningful and fun.  I can also allow you to access remote places and make that part of the trip something you look forward to doing.  How you arrive at the locations can define the experience.  How you get there can be as impactful as the location itself.  Riding a motorcycle is a unique experience.  It is a personal experience and is fulfilling in so many ways.
